Senior Data Platform Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of our data platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and engineering, with experience in architecting and deploying large-scale data systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Spark, Databricks, and other tools.
- Develop scalable production-grade systems to support research workflows.
- Collaborate with Quant Researchers and traders to unlock predictive trading insights.
- Define and document best practices for Data Engineering.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
- Extensive experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Kafka.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and cost optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
