This is a senior role offering a career step up for professionals with a strong background in SMSF administration, compliance, and supervision. The right candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant work experience and be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, overseeing compliance documents, and providing technical support to team members.

About the Role

This key position offers the opportunity to supervise our dynamic SMSF team and contribute to their growth and success. You will be responsible for managing daily workflow, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and overseeing preparation and lodgment of annual returns and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily workflow and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee preparation and lodgment of annual returns and financial statements
  • Provide guidance on complex SMSF matters
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in SMSF legislation and regulations
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate SMSF services
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-7 years of experience in SMSF administration, compliance, and supervision
  • Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in SMSF software platforms and tools
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members
