Job Description

This permanent full-time position is based in Corporate Services - NSW Metropolitan and reports directly to the National Legal Manager, Commercial. The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive legal support to the National Legal Manager, Commercial, and Commercial Legal Services Department;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as external lawyers, joint venture partners, contractors, and Ramsay Managers and employees;
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other agreements;
  • Advising on commercial and corporate matters, health and pharmacy industry regulation, clinical trials and research, competition and consumer law, property, regulatory matters, privacy, and data breach.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Solicitor admitted to a Supreme Court of a State of Australia;
  • Minimum of 5 years post-admission experience in a major law firm and/or ASX-listed business;
  • Experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation;
  • Experience or a keen interest in healthcare;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs;
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, with attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy;
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong alignment with and commitment to The Ramsay Way values.
