Leadership Role for Renewable Energy Projects

We seek an experienced professional to lead our high-voltage substation and Battery Energy Storage System projects across Queensland.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of these complex, large-scale energy infrastructure projects from planning to completion.

Key responsibilities include leading dedicated delivery teams, collaborating with skilled engineers and construction managers, and driving project objectives while promoting a Zero Harm culture.

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership and coaching skills, as well as experience in implementing and developing project delivery plans and managing projects using industry-standard methodologies.

Additionally, they will provide technical advice and support to the estimating team and ensure robust tender inputs through the Downer Governance review process.

  • Guide others in promoting a Zero-Harm culture
  • Develop and implement project delivery plans
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve project objectives
  • Manage projects following the Downer Project Management Delivery model
  • Support the estimating team for best practice estimating
