Mathematics Tutor Opportunity

Matrix Education is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics Tutor to join our team at one of our Sydney campuses.

This role is ideal for a university student who is passionate about Mathematics and is looking for a part-time opportunity to balance with their studies. As a Mathematics Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with a fun and dedicated team in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one workshops to Mathematics students
  • Mark exams and homework booklets
  • Provide administrative support to Mathematics Teachers
  • Perform additional duties as required by Senior Tutors

Requirements:

  • Achieved band E4 HSC results in Maths Extension 1 and 2
  • Must tutor up to year 12 Maths Extension 2
  • Passion for Mathematics and teaching
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum six months previous ongoing work experience in retail, hospitality or customer service
  • Current tertiary studies in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Education related fields will be highly regarded
