We are seeking a highly skilled Prosthetist to join our team at APC Prosthetics, NSW. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client care and outcomes.

About the Job


This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with experienced Prosthetists, multidisciplinary health professionals, and our technical team to establish customized treatment plans for each client. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Casting, evaluating, modifying, and fitting prostheses to achieve optimal client outcomes;
  • Managing a case load of transtibial and transfemoral clients independently;
  • Attending metropolitan amputee clinics to provide expert advice and support;
  • Supervising and training junior clinical staff within our team;
  • Collaborating with our technical team to manufacture prosthetic devices;
  • Maintaining accurate records of client attendance, services provided, and client care documentation;
  • Understanding and adhering to funding arrangements, administrative requirements, and reporting needs;
  • Participating in annual training events and conferences.

Requirements and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics or equivalent qualifications;
  • Eligibility for Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association membership;
  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant prosthetic experience, including managing both transtibial and transfemoral clients independently;
  • Strong client-focused skills, with excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships;
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to drive results-oriented outcomes;
  • Sound decision-making skills, initiative, and proactive approach.
