Cnc Press Brake Operator Job Opportunity

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cnc Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a LVD 170ton CNC Brake Press, reading and interpreting production drawings and Bill of Materials, creating programs at the machine, performing QA checks, measuring in-process and completed parts, and working autonomously.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Safely operate a LVD 170ton CNC Brake Press
  • Read and interpret production drawings and Bill of Materials
  • Create programs at the machine (experience with Solidworks & Cadman desirable but not essential)
  • Perform QA checks, measure in-process and completed parts
  • Competent and have had previous experience in a similar position within a Manufacturing / Fabrication environment
  • 2 - 3 Years setting and operating a press brake (preferred but not essential)
  • Work autonomously
  • Current Forklift licence, desired but not essential
  • Strong listening, communication, and planning skills
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Sheetmetal or Fabrication Trade desired but not essential
