About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence of our elderly clients living in the Maitland/Cessnock and surrounding suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide practical domestic assistance and housekeeping to clients in their homes and communities.
  • Travel to clients' homes and communities, using your own car.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure the well-being of clients and staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
  • Understanding of work health and safety practice.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
  • Provisional or full Australian driving licence and ongoing access to a reliable vehicle that's comprehensively insured.
