Elite Patent Team Assistant/Patent Administrator

A highly sought-after opportunity to join an award-winning, globally recognized IP firm in Sydney.

About the Role

As a valued member of their winning national Chemistry/Life Sciences team, you will be the right-hand assistant to two exceptional patent attorneys. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and proof-reading various correspondence and documents;
  • Uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals;
  • Liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements, and amendments;
  • General administration (e.g., diary management, arranging travel and meetings).

This is an excellent chance to expand your skills and experience in intellectual property and work with blue-chip clients on cutting-edge patents.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least one year of experience as a legal secretary/administrator or paralegal in intellectual property, preferably patents;
  • Highly developed Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Outlook, with fast typing accuracy;
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results;
  • A commitment to personal growth and professional development.

An estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per annum.
