Senior Mushroom Production Specialist

The Agricultural Technician role at our farm is a key position in conducting experiments and research to improve mushroom production.
This involves collaborating with experienced growers to develop new methods of planting and harvesting, ensuring optimal yields.
You will be responsible for examining growing mediums, identifying nutrient deficiencies, and assisting in developing control methods for harmful micro-organisms and fungi.
Agricultural technicians also play a critical role in coordinating harvesting plans, collecting data for research, and advising growers on techniques and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must hold relevant qualifications and licenses, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture
- High Risk Forklift license
- Scissor lift license
- Front end loader license
- ChemCert Accreditation
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Intermediate English proficiency
As an agricultural technician, you must be capable of working unsupervised and possess strong communication skills.
