Indoor Farmhand

Picking and packing mushrooms indoors in a climate-controlled facility is the core responsibility of this role. If you are keen to learn and have your own transport, then this could be the job for you.

The team at SA Mushrooms grow their mushrooms 365 days a year, offering secure and reliable work all year round without picking 'seasons' like many other produce farms.

About Your Role:

As a picker, you will play an integral part in the mushroom-picking process. Upon joining, you will receive 4 weeks of intensive training with our dedicated trainers, giving you every opportunity to succeed in your role.

To be successful, you need to have at least intermediate English skills, be available to work during the day, and reside within Australia with valid work rights.

Compensation Package:

During the initial 4-week training, you will be paid an hourly rate of $29.33. After this period, you will be guaranteed a minimum wage of $29.33 per hour and can earn a piece rate of $33.72 or more depending on output and productivity. After 3 months, employees move to level 2 hourly rate.
