About the Role

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will play a crucial role in a resident's overall wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, while maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Supporting mobility needs, including walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicate effectively, and demonstrate adaptability and a passion for learning.
