About the Role

We're seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Enterprise, Risk, Compliance & Assurance team, following an internal promotion. At Youi, this role is crucial in ensuring our compliance with Australian laws, regulations, and industry codes. This is a permanent full-time position, reporting directly to the Senior Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the compliance management framework.
  • Ensure business awareness and management of compliance obligations.
  • Provide timely and accurate compliance advice.
  • Manage incidents in line with the Breach Reporting Standard.
  • Support risk management activities and assurance oversight.
  • Collaborate with Legal and business units on compliance strategies.
  • Prepare compliance reports for internal stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Drive a compliance-focused culture and stay informed on emerging risks.

About You

  • Experience in a compliance role within Financial Services (5+ years is a general indicator).
  • Familiarity with Australian legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Skilled in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles, compliance frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Effective time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
