Demolition Training Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs for Certificate III & IV in Demolition.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging training sessions that cover a range of construction skills, including demolition, rough framing, roofing, drywall, finish carpentry, sheet metal, electrical, plumbing, painting, and masonry.
  • Provide personalized coaching and development opportunities to help trainees achieve their leadership potential.
  • Evaluate student knowledge and skills in construction, providing constructive feedback to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop project-based curriculum that meets industry needs.
  • Instruct trainees on the safe use and handling of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience in construction or a related field in training or teaching.

Preferred attributes include excellent communication and organizational skills, flexibility, time management, and a passion for teaching and sharing expertise with others.
