Efficient Customs Clearance Specialist Required

A Customs Clearance Specialist is required to ensure the efficient customs clearance of goods entering and exiting the country.
About the Role:This role involves ensuring compliance with Australian Customs, Quarantine, and Inspection regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorizing operational requirements to facilitate efficient customs and security clearances.
- Identifying tariff benefits, concessions, and initiatives to optimize clearance processes for customers.
- Providing expert advice on tariff classifications and concessions while addressing client inquiries.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Contribute to timely lodgment of declarations and attainment of clearances.
- Maximizing pre-clearance levels and implementing process improvements.
- Maintaining accurate client product files, ensuring data integrity, and liaising with internal teams and service providers to support smooth operations.
- A valid Customs Broker License and AEP Accreditation 19.1 (NCCC) & 19.2 (AEPCOM).
- Strong communication and customer service abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving customs-related issues.
- The ability to meet KPIs and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Australian customs regulations, tariff classifications, and duty minimization strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
