**Job Opportunity:**\
We are seeking an exceptional educator and researcher to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Critical Care.\
\
**Job Description:**\
This role provides clinical teaching, educational and research leadership on the St George Hospital campus, with a preference for a Critical Care field of specialisation. The successful candidate will report to the Head of St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses, the relevant Head of Discipline, and have no direct reports.\
\
**Key Responsibilities:**\
  • \
  • Develop scholarly research and professional activities both nationally and internationally.\
  • Contribute significantly to achieving the teaching and service missions of the School and Faculty.
\
\
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**\
  • \
  • A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.\
  • Medical qualification registerable in NSW and specialist training, preferably in a Critical Care field.\
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.\
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.\
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).
