Job OverviewThis strategic leadership opportunity has arisen for an established Lawyer and Governance professional to drive the governance, corporate legal and regulatory affairs functions across the organisation.
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Risk Officer and collaborate with the Executive Leadership team and Board Directors to lead key functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all regulatory, governance and legal obligations are met;
- Supporting effective board operations by monitoring policies and procedures;
- Providing guidance on good governance practices and implementing clear accountabilities and policy frameworks;
- Delivering corporate legal services including contract reviews, legal advice and collateral reviews;
- Developing and maintaining appropriate frameworks to manage privacy obligations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in shaping the organisation's governance and legal framework.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of governance and legal principles.
