Procurement Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage the onboarding of suppliers, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), quoting, negotiation, selection, and purchase order placement of indirect, production, and aftermarket products or services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personnel in duties associated with the procurement lifecycle, ensuring delivery, quality, and corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Firm-Fixed Price, Not-to-Exceed, and Rough Order of Magnitude pricing for commodities.
  • Monitor commodity pricing, technological developments, and general business trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Investigate potential suppliers for the supply of direct parts and repair services.
  • Identify and address shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements.
  • Expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Evaluate and award quotations received from suppliers, ensuring corporate requirements are satisfied.
  • Manage supplier performance and drive resolution where required.
  • Negotiate and prepare agreements, including Indefinite Demand, Indefinite Quantity, Long-Term Agreements, Contract Purchase Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Develop and enforce procurement planning metrics for all phases of the procurement lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Extensive procurement experience with strong negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is desirable, but relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage complex procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements.
