About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tenancy Manager to join our team at Gough Recruitment. As a Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for managing residential tenancies across various programs, including those for families and refugees/asylum-seekers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating Tenant Services: Oversee tenancy management services, ensuring compliance with Residential Tenancies legislation.
- Managing Relationships: Manage head-leased properties, maintaining strong relationships with real estate agents and owners.
- Tenant Interactions: Coordinate tenant interactions from inquiry to exit, including rent collection and financial obligations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with support services to sustain tenancies and achieve program outcomes. Ensure proactive communication with tenants and neighbors to promote tenancy sustainment.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in Tenancy Management: Demonstrated experience in tenancy management, ideally within a supportive housing model.
- Strong Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Legislation: Excellent knowledge of Residential Tenancies legislation and dispute resolution techniques.
- Ability to Work Effectively: Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for tenants.
- Technical Skills: Confidence in using tenancy management systems like Console Property and Tenancy Management.
- Understanding of Chronic Homelessness: Understanding of chronic homelessness issues and the needs of vulnerable populations.
