As a seasoned professional in the field of water and wastewater treatment, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Newcastle.

The Opportunity

This senior role will involve providing specialist knowledge, technical review, and advice in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines. You will lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams while delivering practical and economical solutions for clients.

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is essential for this position.
  • A well-developed ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences through written and verbal means is necessary.
  • Occasional travel may be required as part of the work.
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the water sector and has significant years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or hydraulic and conveyance design. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
