**Job Overview**

Civil maintenance workers play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of underground water and sewer systems. This position is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy hands-on work and are committed to delivering high-quality results.

The selected candidate will be based in our Coburg North depot, Victoria, where they will assist in emergency response and reactive maintenance on the underground assets. The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time opportunity offering 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 7.00am - 4.00pm with overtime available and encouraged. Depending on experience, the hourly pay rate sits between $35.03 - $36.34 + Super + allowances.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Carry out excavation works to locate water pipes and sewer systems
  • Repair and maintenance of burst & leaking mains, domestic services, valves and water meters
  • Investigate faults to water assets
  • Isolation of water mains
  • Emergency response and reactive maintenance work
  • Undertake manual labour activities

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • MR licence - Required
  • Excavator and front-end loader ticket - Required
  • Electrical Spotters ticket - Required
  • First aid/CPR
  • Traffic management - Desirable
  • Asbestos ticket - Desirable
  • Civil tickets - Desirable
