A diverse and complex infrastructure project is underway, with a significant environmental component. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of this project, ensuring that all environmental aspects are properly managed. We're seeking an experienced Environment Advisor to join our team.

">Job Description:
We're looking for a highly skilled professional to support our environmental efforts. As an Environment Advisor, you will be accountable for ensuring that all activities on site comply with relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with other teams to develop and implement effective strategies to minimize the impact of the project on the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to the health, safety and environment (HSE) cultural framework and effectively communicate this to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of HSE hazards and associated risks, demonstrating a commitment to eliminating or minimizing those risks
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to environmental management
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:
We're looking for someone with:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as environmental science, ecology, biology or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
