Mobile Technical Architect

We seek a seasoned software engineer to fill the role of Mobile Technical Architect. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of our mobile products and backend services from architecting new features to improving performance and code quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in startups or their own startup, seeking a team that prioritizes product and engineering. You'll have the chance to collaborate closely with senior leaders on impactful features used by thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical vision and ensure all work aligns with long-term architecture and product strategy.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other Engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, performance monitoring, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
  • Experience with Node, Serverless & AWS is highly valued.
  • MongoDB & DynamoDB experience is also highly valued.
  • Native mobile experience is desirable.
