Job Overview

This role involves evaluating, selecting, and applying standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.

You will participate in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity.

You will coordinate work with other engineering disciplines, provide technical assistance to other electrical personnel, and interact with project functions, customers, and regulatory agency personnel in resolving complex issues and industry codes and standards.

You will assist project management in identifying and complying with project electrical requirements and addressing issues as they arise during project execution.

You will prepare or assist in preparing conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.

This requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience.

You will have knowledge of design requisitions, systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.

You will also have knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods and precedents in the Electrical discipline, principles and practices of inter-related disciplines, related construction practices, and associated costs.

You will be familiar with the application and coordination of Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.
