We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Leader to join our Queensland building business unit.
About the Role- Critically review project plans and budgets, making adjustments as required with the bid and project team.
- Ensure strong contract, commercial, and financial risk management, accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue, take corrective action in line with reporting frameworks and maximize the profit margin for the project.
- Continuously improve each project team's performance to meet their target gross profit position.
- Monitor legal, contractual, and financial aspects of construction projects and ensure a safe working environment across all project sites.
- Manage the overall delivery of the project on or ahead of time, meeting client expectations while overseeing, monitoring, and assisting with time, cost, design, and quality requirements.
- Implement adjustments and mitigation measures appropriately.
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required. Review regular construction project reports for the Queensland/NT business unit executive leadership team and senior leadership team.
- Be proficient in all details of cost, program, site progress, risks, etc., to enable timely informed discussions, collaboration, and decision-making.
