Exercise Physiologist - Enhance Seniors' Physical Function

We are seeking a qualified Exercise Physiologist to assist seniors in achieving optimal physical function, health and wellness through one-on-one clinical assessments.

This role involves assisting seniors in building confidence for further independence living safely at home. It combines one-on-one assessments with group exercise activities through social groups and wellbeing programs.

Our ideal candidate will have a degree-qualified Exercise Physiologist with ESSA Accreditation, a passion for working with seniors, and the ability to build rapport and trusting relationships with ease.

The successful applicant will work in a happy, supportive team environment with a flexible employer offering part-time or full-time options. They will also require a full drivers' license and own car fully comprehensively insured for travel around Wollongong and Shellharbour area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one clinical Exercise Physiology assessments of seniors
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to enhance seniors' physical function and health
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to seniors
  • Travel to home-based consultations to provide convenient services to seniors

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree-qualified Exercise Physiologist with ESSA Accreditation
  • Passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
  • Caring and empathetic nature to build rapport and trusting relationships with ease
  • Full drivers' license and own car fully comprehensively insured for travel
