Job Summary

A dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse is sought to drive quality initiatives, ensure compliance, and contribute to the delivery of safe and person-centred care in our Quality and Compliance Department.

This pivotal role involves coordinating audits, investigating complaints, reviewing quality activities, and supporting the rollout of new systems and initiatives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across departments, leveraging their clinical and quality expertise to make a meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collect, analyse and report on data. They are also proficient in computer systems and databases, and have a willingness to travel across sites as required.

About the Role:
  • Coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigating complaints or emerging trends, and guiding responsive actions to maintain high standards of care.
  • Reviewing quality activities to ensure accurate reporting for the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, feedback and incident management.
  • Supporting the rollout of new systems and organisation-wide initiatives to enhance quality and safety.
  • Contributing to committees and working groups, mentoring colleagues, and staying across aged care reforms to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centred services.
About You:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse Registration (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 5 years' post-registration clinical experience.
  • Previous quality/auditing experience and a formal qualification (e.g. Diploma in Quality Auditing).
  • Previous experience in aged care.
  • Ability to collect, analyse and report on data.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and databases (intermediate to advanced).
  • Willingness to travel across sites as required.
