Purchasing Manager

Clear Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to lead group-level procurement, supplier engagement, and materials planning. This role plays a key part in driving commercial outcomes and supporting the delivery of mid to large-scale builds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, supplier agreements, and preferred vendor frameworks
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing across key trades and construction materials
  • Oversee purchasing systems, inventory management, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
  • Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and accounts to streamline workflows
  • Maintain and strengthen supplier and subcontractor relationships
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience in construction procurement or purchasing (Australian market preferred)
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • In-depth knowledge of construction materials and supplier markets
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational ability
  • Full Australian working rights
