Product Development ManagerWe are looking for a talented Product Development Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of new products and drive business growth.The successful candidate will have a strong background in product development, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will be responsible for planning, developing and directing marketing efforts for our brands, as well as supporting and directing all marketing activities including licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing, Commerce or related field, and will have working knowledge of a variety of marketing tactics from TV, print, digital and consumer promotions. They will be passionate about creative excellence and willing to drive self and others to achieve 'magic'.   • Develop and implement product development strategies to drive business growth.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Plan, develop and direct marketing efforts for our brands, including licensing, promotions, advertising, media production, packaging, branding, public relations, trade shows, market research, pricing, costing, profitability analysis, and SKU rationalization.
  • Support and direct all marketing activities, including negotiating pricing, profitability and vendor cost approval management.
  • Administer the critical path analysis process, ensuring all timelines are adhered to, all details are properly recorded, and that all parties are informed of relevant information where required.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Sales, Planning) as well as with outside partners (vendors, licensors, inventors) both nationally and internationally at all stages of product development.
Requirements:
  • Direct experience with the full product development cycle.
  • Direct experience dealing with overseas development and manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, coupled with excellent organizational communication skills, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while continuously taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines.
