Critical Care Anaesthesia Specialist
Highly motivated and experienced anaesthetists are sought after to join our dynamic Critical Care HMO3 program. This opportunity allows for a unique combination of critical care, emergency department, and intensive care unit work.
About the Role
This role offers a 38-hour week with a 5-week rotating roster, including day and evening shifts. Evening shifts require anaesthesia support in theatre and to the wider hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality anaesthesia services within and outside the operating suite
- Collaboration with supervising consultants or registrars is essential
- Anaesthesia support during evening shifts is vital
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent qualification is mandatory
- A minimum 24 months full-time employment as Hospital Medical Officer since graduation is required
- Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is necessary
- Registration with AHPRA is also a must for eligible applicants
