As a civil contractor based in Victoria, BG Infrastructure services specialises in the installation of underground utility infrastructure servicing clients in communication and power industries throughout the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

BG Infrastructure services is seeking a full-time Directional Driller or operator who will be responsible for installing underground utility infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and a willingness to learn. They must also have:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in directional drilling.
  • An excavator ticket.
  • A RIW card would be preferred.
  • MR truck license (min HC) preferred.

Additionally, the successful applicant must be willing to undertake training in Vermeer Directional Drills and/or tracking equipment.

They should also have the ability to work well in a team environment and possess sound written and verbal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery around underground assets.

Work Environment:

  • 8 hour shifts.

Relocation Information:

  • Ability to commute/relocate: Melbourne VIC - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred).
