The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for leading and managing a team of bakery staff, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of bakery staff to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering and stock management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including work health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a bakery or retail management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of fresh food retail and bakery operations
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team
