**About the Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic Groundsperson to join our grounds team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the resort grounds.

This is an active hands-on role, working in a small team, autonomously or without supervision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing general grounds duties such as gardening, plant care, weed control, landscaping and general maintenance as required
  • Operating equipment including lawn mower, whipper snipper, and hedger; whilst maintaining and adhering to safe work practices
  • Maintaining a high standard of quality presentation
  • Completing tasks within designated time frames and to a high standard
  • Interacting with guests and visitors to provide a high standard of customer service and a memorable experience

**Key Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant certificate in general landscaping or horticulture, or equivalent experience (desirable)
  • An understanding of maintenance, horticulture and landscape procedure and techniques
  • Soft scape grounds knowledge (desirable)
  • The ability to perform physical requirements of manual labour & heavy lifting
  • The ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment, at times fast-paced, demonstrating a positive attitude and communicating effectively
  • Excellent customer service and organisational skills
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
  • A valid Australian drivers licence (mandatory)
