About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified nurse. Previous experience in an emergency hospital or specialist clinic would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working independently with a reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing day-to-day clinical nurse duties, including patient assessment, treatment, and care;
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care;
  • Assisting the Team Lead in ensuring the team is operating efficiently and effectively;
  • Performing tasks such as preparing patients for surgery, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records;

You will be required to maintain a keen eye on day-to-day workflow and assist the Team Lead in ensuring the team is operating efficiently and effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing;
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified nurse;
  • Previous experience in an emergency hospital or specialist clinic would be highly regarded but is not essential;
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
