We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented painter to deliver high-quality finishes on various residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks/holes, and priming.
- Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Work with interior and exterior surfaces.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all OH&S guidelines.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience.
- Trade qualification in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of painting tools, materials, and surface prep techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to read plans and follow specifications.
- Reliable transport and valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Benefits:
- Annual salary between $77,460 and $88,525 (inclusive of superannuation) dependent on experience.
- Relocation bonus for moving expenses: up to $2000.00.
