We're Hiring: Qualified Painter

Sonder Painting & Restoration is a painting and decorating company that services vast areas of Northern and Country NSW.

Job Description:

We are seeking a fully qualified, experienced painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on a variety of residential projects. You must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.

Remuneration:

Relocation bonus for moving expenses: up to $2000.00

Annual salary between $77,460 and $88,525 (inclusive ofsuperannuation) dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks/holes, and priming

Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers

Work with interior and exterior surfaces

Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all OH&S guidelines

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience

Trade Qualification in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of painting tools, materials, and surface prep techniques

Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to read plans and follow specifications

Reliable transport and valid driver's license

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Experience with restoration or heritage work is not essential, but is highly desirable.

Location: Inverell and country Northern NSW
