Job Opportunity:

 

  • Support the coordination and execution of various clinical trials and studies within a Neurology Department.
  • Ensure optimal patient assessment, specialist cognitive scale administration, recruitment, retention, data collection, and management according to Good Clinical Research Practice Standards and adherence to trial protocols.
  • Foster collaboration with Principal Investigators, Subinvestigators, submission of Health Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approvals, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with Contract Research Organization (CRO) Monitors and relevant staff for involved studies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate clinical research and trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, specifically in neurology.
  • Administer cognitive scales to patients with neurological diseases.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure protocol compliance and achieve overall clinical objectives.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with neurology's clinical aspects and relevant sub-specialties.
  • Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Show proven time management abilities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in coordinating clinical research and trials.
  • A postgraduate qualification in health and/or management or working towards it is desirable.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
