
Sexual Assault Prevention Program Coordinator

The Primary Prevention Program is a crucial initiative that aims to deliver anti-violence training and education programs to young people in secondary schools via Respect Protect Connect, as well as primary schools via Feeling Safe Together. The program also provides specialist sexual assault and family violence education and training packages to the community, professionals, and stakeholders.
As the Education and Training Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of the Primary Prevention Program, including staff supervision, marketing materials, strategy management, training and education bookings, and liaison with external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include coordinating and developing sexual assault and family violence training and education packages, organizing whole-school advanced personal safety programs, conducting workshops and in-services for teaching staff, parents, community groups, and health professionals, ensuring training packages are relevant and using up-to-date resources and information, updating the training manual and related training courses, and filing quarterly reports regarding project targets set by DFFH.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience working with victim survivors of sexual assault and family violence, demonstrated experience undertaking sexual assault / family violence prevention work in the broader community, experience in project management and program coordination including staff supervision, strong communication skills, and experience delivering training to small and large audiences.

OthersThis role is primarily based at East Bentleigh, but involves frequent travel between SECASA sites and schools to deliver education programs. A current Victorian licence is required for this position.
