Job Title: Educator of Technology

Merrylands High School seeks an experienced and qualified educator to lead our technology program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching technology to students aged 7-8 and industrial technology – timber.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, developing curriculum materials, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the school's strategic directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technology programs that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Approval to teach technology (7-8) and industrial technology – timber.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching learners from low socio-economic backgrounds and those with language barriers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.
