Our school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Industrial Technology Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and motivate students, delivering high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

Job Description

The role involves teaching Industrial Technology to secondary students, Years 7-12, with a focus on developing skills in selecting timber, using hand and power tools, and applying design and production processes through practical projects. We are looking for someone who can differentiate learning to maximize student outcomes and provide assessment and learning feedback.

  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of the teaching of Industrial Technology to secondary students, Years 7-12.
  • The ability to develop students' skills in selecting timber, using hand and power tools, and applying design and production processes through creating practical projects.
  • An understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students' needs to maximise student learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
  • A tertiary qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete).
  • A valid Working with Children Check for employment purposes.
