About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Specialist to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a Health Information Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and organisation of health information, internal performance reporting, mandatory reporting, and reporting of activity data.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organise health information, including scheduling and running health-related reports from electronic medical records to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collect and disseminate data within required time frames to internal and external users.
- Coordinate health-related complaints and data management of complaints under the direction of the Medical Director and Manager.
Requirements
- Relevant administrative experience in a health setting and/or equivalent.
- Experience in administrative management of reporting and data analysis.
- Co-ordination of health-related complaints and data management of complaints under the direction of Medical Director and Manager.
- Provide information to staff to assist in preparation of responses.
- Liaise with Patient Liaison Office to finalise complaints within required time frames.
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain, including a security clearance organised by the Correctional team.
