Healthcare Assistant - Make a Difference

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our multidisciplinary allied health assistant team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and support across various settings, including acute, subacute, emergency department, and home-based services.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients across all sites at Alfred Health.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Assist with medical procedures, treatments, and tests as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistance) or recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Higher qualification in a relevant health science discipline at Diploma or Associate Diploma level.
  • Certificate level qualification in a relevant health-related field.
  • Overseas-trained Allied Health practitioner with a qualification at Diploma level or higher.
  • Allied Health undergraduate student having successfully completed at least 1 year.
Additional Requirements for Grade 3 Position
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time equivalent experience as a grade 2 AHA.
  • Experience with supervising students.
