Are you a seasoned AWS security expert looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer to join our client's team in Canberra on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.

About the Role

This is a unique chance to work with a highly experienced team and contribute to the development of robust security architectures and controls for AWS environments. As an AWS Security Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing security configurations, policies, and permissions to mitigate risks across AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security architectures and controls that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling to identify potential security risks.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the overall security posture of the organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of AWS security features and experience working with cloud-based infrastructure. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate complex technical information effectively.

A Negative Vetting level One or above clearance is required for this position.
