About This Role

A leading Federal Government department is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cyber Security Architect to augment their existing operations team and uplift their cyber security capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cyber security monitoring and analysis toolsets, taking a lead role in building the cyber security architecture, and detecting and coordinating incident response to threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve cyber security monitoring and analysis toolsets to ensure the highest level of security for the organization
  • Work closely with internal ICT teams to design and implement secure cyber security architectures
  • Play a key role in detecting and responding to cyber security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Requirements

The successful Lead Cyber Security Architect will have extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Experience with SIEM solutions such as Sentinel or similar tools
  • Familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Expertise in cloud security services, including Azure or AWS
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and system administration
