Job Title: Team Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Team Lead to inspire and support our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, aged care experience, and the ability to foster a positive team culture.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and supervision to Support Workers, display confidence in aged care and medication management, conduct staff training and performance evaluations, participate in service plan development and implementation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and foster a positive team culture across participants and support workers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide guidance and support to Support Workers on aged care and medication management practices.
  • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of service plans that meet the needs of participants.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Foster a positive team culture by promoting respect, dignity, and wellbeing for all participants and staff.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Disability or related field.
  • Leadership experience in the disability sector.
  • Aged care or medical background in NDIS required.
  • Strong knowledge of disability support principles and practices.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access.
  • Understanding of NDIS framework and guidelines.
