The gig

As a DC Team Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the fulfilment team.
You will inspire the team to deliver efficient workflows, smashing picking and volume KPIs, and ultimately create a world-class experience for our community.

The role is a full-time position, working 5 days/week across Monday - Friday.

The day to day

  • Lead and provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team that ensures their success and professional growth.
  • Manage the allocation of tasks to team members, ensuring that all operational activities are executed efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members, addressing any potential hazards or concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to be 1% better for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organised environment, adhering to established standards and regulations.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software tools to track, document, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in training new team members and conduct regular performance evaluations for existing team members.
