Design Water Solutions Engineer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Design Water Solutions Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to develop and deliver effective solutions for water treatment and conveyance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines
  • Review design requirements, conduct site investigations, and prepare reports and specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
