This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work in a rewarding country practice where you will be working alongside an experienced Optometrist.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and utilise ocular therapeutics to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide dispensing services, including using diagnostic equipment like autorefractor, Optos Daytona, Zeiss OCT, and Zeiss Humphrey visual field machine.
  • Engage with a diverse patient base contributing to the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, such as age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in ocular therapeutics, including prescribing medication and performing surgical procedures.
  • Dispensing experience, including knowledge of optical lenses and contact lenses.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
