Job Opportunity:

This is a senior-level commercial lawyer position that offers direct exposure to all levels of business. As a Counsel, you will play a vital role in supporting the continued growth and compliance of our business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and employment law matters
  • Manage our compliance with credit license and debt collections regulations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with departments to provide legal support throughout the client lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal and regulatory changes, including privacy regulations and industry standards
  • Attend to miscellaneous legal matters, such as corporate secretarial tasks and office premise leases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current admission as a legal practitioner in Australia
  • At least five years post-qualification experience
