Job Summary
CRM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our client, a leading Financial Institution in Australia. As a key member of the Risk and Compliance team, you will be responsible for leading the Internal Audit function and ensuring the effective implementation of risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a risk-based audit plan that covers key strategic and operational risks within the area of responsibility.
- Deliver audit activities within the audit plan to the required Institute of Internal Auditor standard.
- Manage internal audit relationships with key executives across the Business Banking and Corporate Support functions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including Board reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a commercially focused Internal Audit role within a financial institution or Big 4 Consulting firm.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls frameworks in an audit context.
- Excellent business partnering skills.
- Ability to lead and work autonomously.
